The National Youth ICT Council is a youth governed Non-Profit Company (NPC) that seeks to drive inclusive digital transformation and advocate for youth economic participation.

In alignment with the National Youth Policy and Integrated Youth Development Strategy, the Youth ICT Council supports efforts of enhancing the human capacity of ICT start-ups through enterprise development and entrepreneurship innovation trainings. It aims to increase the participation of ICT youth in policy development activities, the coordination of funding opportunities for ICT start-ups, ICT SMMEs and to drive 4IR advocacy programmes for citizens.
We believe that disruptive technologies have potential to accelerate inclusive economic growth and social development. The Council coordinates work integrated learning opportunities from both public and private sector. It is a Council with a Board of Directors (including the CEO).
